About Philharmonic Orchestra

Philharmonic Orchestra offers a full orchestra experience for skilled students of all ages who play string, woodwind*, brass, or percussion instruments. String players need at least 3-4 years’ experience, while wind and percussion players require 3 or more years. The music includes arranged and original works for full orchestra. Learn more.

 

Philharmonic Orchestra meets Saturday mornings from 9:30 AM to Noon at Century High School in Rochester.

Please remember:

• No metronome
• No headphones/earphones/etc
• No need to announce your name or what you're playing. Instead, please include your name and what you're playing in the video title and/or description.

Please record and submit the following:

Solo

Please record one solo between 1-2 minutes that best demonstrates your abilities. Solos need not be memorized.

Choose your selection with guidance from your private teacher or orchestra/band director. If you need a suggestion on which solo to prepare, please contact us at info@semyo.org!
